The New Season 2016

The 2016 season is here and players are getting their gear to start preparing for the upcoming season. Grandview Baseball is only weeks away for the first practice. Here is a rundown if you missed the first meeting of the season:
1. First game is March 12th home against Granger, no player can miss a day to play in the game!
2. Cleanup days will be February 20th and 27th from 11am to 1pm
3. Our Team communication App is Team Snap, everyone is invite to download the app and see what is schedule throughout the season.
4. Spirit packs forms are out the Nike Spirit pack is due by February 15, with this date we will have our stuff in by the second game of the season. The second which is Kimmel will be due March 1st and will be here by the third game.
5. Youth Camp is schedule for April 5th and 6th from 12pm to 2pm, during Spring Break every player is required to be there no exceptions.
6. Baseball contracts are due by March 4th
7. Players are required to supply their own practice pants this year, we will be getting new game pants this year.
8. Players are encourage to make some money and try the umpire job down at the Cal Ripken league, ask coach for more questions about this.
9. Looking for parent help during our cleanup this year, call me for any questions on how you can help this year with everything.
10. We will be having new coaches adding to this year which will be a huge difference in are overall performance. These coaches will be announced during the spring parent meeting in March.

Community Banner Fundraiser

-Grandview Baseball field has not had community banners in the last five to six years.  As head coach I feel the community needs to be welcome back into our field having our players back while they take the field. We have 45 spots out in the field that I would like to fill by the start of the season.

-This fundraiser will help with the upgrades to our field every year; these are a few things we are planning on:

Warning track

Home bullpen (rebuilding)

Picnic area for fans

Field Equipment: Spraying, Clay for infield, dugouts upgrades

Batting cage upgrades, and Players equipment.

  - Banner Sizes:    8'x4' Banner $300  or  6'x3' Banner $250

Companies have the option to purchase a banner to donate (Example: Good Luck Grandview Greyhound Baseball) with no company logo added.

(There will be an annually 100$ hanging fee that will be billed to the companies Prior to the baseball season, to continue their advertisement.
